- The company does the work and is solely responsible for it, including licensing, insurance, warranty and pricing. Iowa electricians are licensed through the Electrical Examining Board in the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing, and Nebraska licenses them through its State Electrical Division, so ask for a license number for your side of the river and proof of insurance before booking.
